Snow and Weather Policy for Finessed Home Staging

At Finessed Home Staging the safety and well-being of our clients, staff, and property are our top priorities. We understand that winter weather can present challenges, and we want to ensure smooth and efficient service during snow events. Please review our snow policy below:

1. Safe and Cleared Access:

  • Client Responsibility: We require that all walkways, driveways, and access points to the property be cleared of snow and ice before our team arrives. This includes steps, porches, sidewalks, and any other areas that our team will need to navigate.

  • Clearing Timeframe: We request that these areas be cleared at least 24 hours prior to scheduled staging to ensure safe access.

  • Weather-Related Delays: If access is unsafe or blocked due to snow or ice, we will contact you to reschedule or delay our appointment. We will work with you to arrange a new time based on availability.

2. Scheduling & Weather Delays:

  • Multiple Job Coordination: Our team often has multiple staging projects scheduled within a given timeframe. In the event of inclement weather, we will prioritize safety and adjust scheduling accordingly. While we will do our best to accommodate your needs, please understand that delays may occur, and other jobs may need to be rescheduled. Please understand that we operate as a full service moving company - navigating the city and loading/ unloading truck loads of furniture & decor requires the right conditions for our crew.

  • Communication: In the event of weather-related delays, we will notify you as soon as possible and provide an updated timeline. We kindly ask for your flexibility and understanding as we navigate potential changes to our schedule.

3. Interior Temperature Considerations:

  • Preventing Frozen Pipes: To avoid damage to the property, we ask that interior temperatures be maintained at a minimum of 55°F (13°C) during cold weather. This is essential to prevent pipes from freezing and bursting, which can cause significant damage to both the home and our staging materials.

  • Client Responsibility: Please ensure that the property is properly heated and that any concerns related to temperature control are addressed before our team arrives. If we arrive and temperatures are below freezing, we may need to reschedule or take additional precautions, which could result in delays.

We appreciate your cooperation in ensuring that your home is safe and ready for our team to provide high-quality staging services. If you have any questions or concerns regarding our snow and weather policy, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Best regards,
The Finessers
