Position Overview:
The Associate Stager position is an entry-level role that plays a vital role in the success of each home staging project. This position requires a highly organized, adaptable individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and is comfortable executing a variety of logistical tasks. While the role is more tactical than creative, it offers the opportunity to work with beautiful furniture and décor in some of Boston's most stunning properties. The Associate Stager will have the chance to learn and grow within the company, with the potential to move into a Lead Stager position as skills and experience develop.
Key Responsibilities:
Pre-Stage Preparation:
Arrive on-site ahead of the truck to ensure everything is set up for a smooth staging process.
Unlock the property and take "before" photos for reference.
Furniture & Décor Placement:
Assist in guiding the moving crew on the initial placement of furniture and décor, with final decisions made by the Creative Director.
Own the initial staging set up, by completing activities such as hanging artwork, making beds, and tying up any remaining details to ensure the staging is completed, rolling into the Creative Director for final approval.
Logistics Support:
Run errands (such as going to a store or returning to the warehouse) to retrieve or exchange necessary items.
Work closely with the moving crew to pack up and label items, assisting with pickups as required.
Warehouse Organization:
Help maintain an organized and clean warehouse space, ensuring that all materials and items are properly stored and easy to access.
Build and maintain an inventory database during slower periods or between staging projects.
Inventory & Supply Maintenance:
Help assemble and unbox inventory when needed.
Ensure that supply kits for installs are stocked and ready for each job.
Requirements:
Skills & Experience:
Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, particularly when managing the logistics of a staging job.
A keen interest in real estate, architecture, interior design, art, and décor.
No formal education required—attitude, enthusiasm, and style are the most important qualities.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and move furniture and décor items.
Must be able to drive and access staging locations, with an ability to be on-site as early as 7:30 AM.
Work Hours:
This is a part-time, hourly position, with flexibility to work some evenings and weekends depending on the staging schedule.
Location:
Based in the greater Boston area, with job sites across the city and surrounding neighborhoods.
